Average export offer prices of Chinese flat steel products have indicated a declining trend in the past week. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $425-435/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $455-465/mt FOB.

During the given week, the downward trend of Chinese domestic flat steel prices have continued to exert negative pressure on Chinese flat steel export offer prices. Weak sentiment prevails among exporting traders. It is thought that Chinese flat steel export offer prices will likely move down further in the coming week.
