During the given week, flat steel export offer prices from China declined by smaller margins compared to previous weeks as major Chinese steelmakers including Baoshan Iron and Steel Group (Baosteel) and Wuhan Iron and Steel Group (WISCO) increased their ex-works prices for June delivery, which provided some support for flat steel prices in China. Meanwhile, following previous sharp declines, it is thought that flat steel export offer prices from China will likely fluctuate within a limited range in the coming week.
