Average export offer prices of Chinese flat steel products have mostly indicated a rising trend in the past week. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $505-515/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $595-605/mt FOB.
During the given week, the significant increases in Chinese domestic finished and semi-finished steel prices have exerted a positive impact on Chinese flat steel export offer prices, while transaction activities for exports have improved compared to the previous week. It is thought that Chinese flat steel export offer prices will likely remain stable in the coming week.
