Average export offer prices of Chinese flat steel products have indicated a slight downward movement in the past week. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $490-500/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $545-555/mt FOB.
During the given week, the significant declines in Chinese domestic flat steel prices in the spot market have exerted a negative impact on Chinese flat steel export offer prices. It is thought that Chinese flat steel export offer prices will likely move sideways in the coming week.
