Chinese flat steel export offer prices decrease

Chinese flat steel export offer prices have indicated a decreasing trend over the past week. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $380-400/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $460-480/mt FOB.

While export offer prices for flat steel from China have declined in the past week, it is thought that there is now limited room for further downward movement of prices following the decreases seen in the previous weeks. It is believed that flat steel export offer prices from China will likely fluctuate within a limited range in the coming week.
