Average export offer prices of Chinese flat steel products have indicated a downward trend in the past week. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $445-455/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $495-505/mt FOB.
During the given week, the decline trends in Chinese domestic flat steel prices in the spot market have continued to exert downward pressure on Chinese flat steel export offer prices. Weak sentiment prevails among exporters, while it is thought that Chinese flat steel export offer prices will likely move down further in the coming week.
