In the given week, most downstream enterprises have left the market early ahead of the Chinese New Year holiday (January 27- February 2), resulting in quiet transaction activity. Before the holiday, there will not be much steel plate supply arriving in the market, leading to low inventory levels, which will provide some support for steel plate prices. It is thought that steel plate prices in the Chinese domestic market will remain on a stable trend during the holiday period, while it is also expected that steel plate prices will move sideways in the period immediately after the holiday.
