During the given week, with production restrictions coming to an end after China's 12th National People's Congress, steel mills' production rates have increased and are back to normal levels, while no sign of improved demand from downstream users has been seen, resulting in increased inventory levels for producers, thereby exerting negative pressure on steel plate prices in the domestic spot market. Meanwhile, Chinese futures prices have also declined in the past week, negatively influencing sentiment in the domestic steel plate market. It is thought that steel plate prices in the Chinese domestic market will likely move down slightly in the coming week.
