During the given week, domestic iron ore futures prices have declined, negatively impacting the trend of steel plate prices in the Chinese domestic market. In addition, the overall downtrend seen in the domestic flat rolled steel market, especially as regards hot rolled coil (HRC), has exerted negative pressure on steel plate prices in the market. It is thought that steel plate prices in the Chinese domestic market will likely move down slightly in the coming week.
