During the week ending January 13, average cold rolled prices in the Chinese domestic market have mostly indicated a rising trend, while transaction activity in the overall market has been at decent levels. Average cold rolled coil (CRC) prices in the local Chinese market are presented in the following table.
During the given week, cold rolled producers have received plenty of orders from the downstream automotive industry, providing support for the upward movement of CR product prices. In the given week, producers decreased deliveries of cold rolled coil (CRC), while they increased their deliveries of cold rolled sheet (CRS), resulting in some fluctuations of prices during the week. It is thought that cold rolled product prices in the Chinese domestic market will likely move sideways in the coming week.
