During the week ending October 8, Chinese export offers have indicated an overall declining trend. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $270-290/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $305-335/mt FOB.

Before the National Day Holiday (October 1-7), Chinese flat steel export offer prices had also been moving on a soft trend. It is thought that ex-China flat prices will likely continue their downtrend in the coming week, though possibly with smaller decline margins.
