California Steel Industries joins USS-POSCO in announcing hefty price increase

California Steel Industries (CSI) today announced that they are opening their August flat rolled order book. Effective immediately, CSI will be raising prices on US HRC by $6.50 cwt. ($143/mt or $130/nt.) They'll also be raising prices on US CRC and Galvanized steel by $7.50 cwt. ($165/mt or $150/nt) effective immediately. USS-POSCO last week announced it will raise base prices on all new HRC, CRC and galvanized steel orders by $7.50 cwt. ($165/mt or $150/nt) effective immediately.
