California Steel Industries (CSI) today announced they are opening the balance of their August order book; the mill said it has limited capacity available and they expect to book out the balance of August very quickly.  This, compounded with changing market conditions, has prompted CSI to announce they will be increasing their transaction prices for hot rolled coil (HRC), cold rolled coil (CRC),Galvanized coil (HDG) and P&O by $1.25 cwt. ($28/mt or $25/nt), effective immediately.

CSI has not announced where their desired set, minimum base prices for HRC, CRC, HDG or P&O will be.
