California Steel Industries announces flat rolled price increase

California Steel Industries (CSI) has announced they are opening their flat rolled order book for orders placed for shipment in the first two weeks of July.  The company has announced they will be raising prices for all flat rolled steel products, including hot rolled coil, cold rolled coil and galvanized coil by a minimum of $1.50 cwt. ($33/mt or $30/t). 

CSI did not announce new, specific price points for HRC, CRC or HDG coil.

The company further stated they reserve the right to review any previously quoted requirements that have not been placed, acknowledged or confirmed in writing.
