Different sources linked to slab producers in Brazil mentioned stable export prices for the product over the course of the last week.

One source mentioned the most recent sale closing at $380/mt, while the another mentioned $390/mt, both FOB conditions for slab of the basic commercial grades.

The references are roughly the same as last week, but both sources mentioned that the prices remain in an uptrend, with indications that another exporter has already closed a deal at $440/mt, CFR conditions to a port in the EU.

In November, CSP exported its slabs at $315/mt, ArcelorMittal Tubarao at $330/mt and ThyssenKrupp CSA at $352/mt, all FOB conditions with price deals probably closed in September.

Asia was the top destination (134,400 mt), followed by the US (121,200 mt), the EU (90,700 mt), Mexico (40,700 mt), Turkey (30,900 mt) and Canada (28,100 mt).
