Brazil was a net importer of Galvalume in March

Brazil exported 13,300 mt of Galvalume in March, 19 percent less than in February, at an average FOB price of $843/mt, 2.1 percent higher than in February.
 
All exports were from CSN, with price deals likely closed in January. The destinations were the US (6,800 mt at $855/mt) and South America (6,500 mt at $831/mt, of which 5,000 mt shipped to Argentina at $835/mt), all FOB conditions.
 
The most recent Galvalume export deals were reportedly closed at $830/mt, FOB conditions, having the AZ50 grade as reference.
 
Meanwhile, Brazil imported in March 23,800 mt of Galvalume and similar aluminum-zinc coated products from China at $616/mt, FOB conditions.
