During the week ending May 22, pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) quotations in the Chinese domestic market have indicated a decline, while overall transaction activity has been at slack levels.

During the given week, since demand from downstream users has been at low levels, bearish sentiment has prevailed among traders. In order to sell products, traders have lowered their prices in a bid to stimulate transaction activity. It is expected that PPGI prices will indicate a slight downtrend in the coming week.
