Argentina’s domestic prices on HRC stable

In late July, Argentina’s domestic HRC mill prices were at approximately $670-690/mt ex-works. Prices had dropped $10-15/mt from the end of June price range of $685-695/mt ex-works on weak domestic economy.

According to sources, Argentina’s domestic HRC prices continue at $670-690/mt ex works. Prices are expected to increase $10-15/mt in September with planned increases in public investment projects and as production entities update pricing to factor increased raw material costs.
