Argentina’s domestic flats prices increase month-on-month

On December 6, SteelOribs reported Argentina’s domestic prices for commercial grade HRC firming up to $625-640/mt and CRC to $755-765/mt, both ex-works.
 
As of mid-January, domestic prices have increased once again and now HRC is at $660-675/mt, CRC at $780-790/mt, and HDG at $1065-1150/mt, all ex-works. A month later these prices reflect an increase of $35/mt on HRC and $25/mt on CRC. SteelOrbis did not include HDG prices in its December report. According to a source, HDG encountered an increase of $15/mt from a wide range of $1050-1135/mt ex-works in early December.
