On May 13, Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Angang Steel announced its ex-mill flat steel prices for June, keeping its prices unchanged. The details are as follows:
1. The producer's HRC prices are unchanged. Thus, Q235 5.5 x 1,500 mm carbon HRC still costs RMB 4,070/mt ($597/mt)
2. CRC prices show no change from previous levels. As a result, the price of SPCC 1.0 mm x 1,250 mm is still RMB 5,340/mt ($783/mt)
3. Galvanized coil prices are unchanged, with ST01Z 1.0 mm galvanized coil remaining at RMB 5,250/mt ($770/mt)
4. Pre-painted steel prices are the same as previous, with the price of TDX51D+Z 0.5 mm pre-painted steel still at RMB 6,250/mt ($916/mt).
5. Medium plate prices are unchanged, and so Q235A 20 mm common carbon medium plate produced by the medium plate production line still costs RMB 4,200/mt ($616/mt) with Q235A 20 mm common carbon medium plate from the heavy plate production line costing RMB 4,220/mt ($619/mt).
6. Silicon steel prices are unchanged, with 50AW800 cold rolled silicon steel at RMB 6,920/mt ($1,015/mt)
All the above prices are ex-mill and do not include 17 percent VAT.
