Turkish durable goods production up by 41%

Turkish durable goods production increased 40.8% to 27.4 million units in the first ten months of the year, data by the State Institute of Statistics show. Total production is expected to reach 32.1 million units by the end of the year. 19.5 million units have been produced in the same period last year. Television production increased 40.3% to 16.8 million units followed by refrigerator production, which increased 20.9% to 4.1 million units. Washing machine production increased 67.5% to 3.3 million units, oven production by 29% to 1.5 million units. Production of video players increased 7.5-fold to 50'538 and music sets 1.9-fold to 172'374.
