Turkey’s exports to EU countries up by 30.9%

In the first eight months of the year, Turkey's exports to EU member countries surged by 30.9%. Exports to EU countries amounted to $21.6 billion in the mentioned period. Last year, this figure was recorded as $16.6 billion. The highest figure was recorded in ready-to-wear and apparel exports with $6.1 billion and automotive exports followed this figure with $4.7 billion. In the mentioned period, ferrous metal and non-ferrous metal exports were worth $2.1 billion.
