Turkey grows fastest among EU candidates

According to figures from the European Commission, Turkey is growing the most rapidly among the other EU candidate countries Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia. According to the figures, Turkey's growth rate is 9.6 percent on basis of gross national product. Romania's growth rate is 5.1 percent, Bulgaria's and Croatia's 5 percent. The European Commission says Turkey's economic growth potential will be high in the coming years as well.
