Russian trade surplus is $95.4 billion in Jan-Nov period
The Federal Customs Service announced that
Russia's foreign trade surplus rose by 6% in November to $8.75 billion. Country's trade surplus contracted by 2.5% in September and 1.9% in November 2003.
In November,
Russia's trade surplus with non-
CIS member countries reached $7.64 billion with a rise of 4.3% from a month earlier. Trade surplus with the
CIS amounted to $1.11 billion, up by 20.2% compared to October.
In January-November 2004 period, trade surplus rose to $95.4 billion from $69.7 billion recorded in the same period of last year.
The trade surplus with countries outside the
CIS amounted to $85.2 billion in the first eleven months of the year and with the
CIS reached $10.2 billion. These figures were recorded as $63 billion and $6.7 billion in January-November 2003 period.
