Iran’s beam output up by 18.7%

The electronics and steel industry office operating under the Mines and Industry Ministry said that the volume of beam production in Iran exceeded 1.93 million tons in March 20, 2003-March 19, 2004 period, revealing an increase of 18.7% compared to the same of previous year. In addition, hot and cold rolled sheet output also surged by 6.6% and 6.1% to 2.7 million tons and 612'000 tons respectively in the aforementioned period.
