CIS reports an increase in GDP

According to the CIS Intergovernmental Statistics Committee, the average GDP (Gross Domestic Product) in CIS surged by 7% in January-November 2003 period. The major GDP growth was recorded in Armenia with 15.1%. The lowest GDP growth was reported in Belarus and Kyrgyzstan with 6.5%. In the same period, GDP has increased by 6.9% in Russia.
