Annual inflation rate 2% in EU
As per the data released by the EU's statistics agency Eurostat, the annual inflation rate in Euro zone rose to 2.2% in the month of November, from the 2% level in October. The rate a year earlier was 2.3%. Moreover, annual inflation rate in the EU was up to 2% in November from the 1.9% of October data. According to figures published by EU statistics agency, member countries which indicated the highest inflation rates for November are; Ireland 3.3%, Spain 2.9% and Italy 2.8%, whereas the lowest rates were seen in Finland with 1.2% and Germany, Austria and the UK with 1.3% for each.
