Zhongyuan Special Steel’s net profit down 4.5 percent in H1

On July 13, Henan Province-based Chinese steel producer Zhongyuan Special Steel Co. has announced its financial results for the first half of the current year.
 
Accordingly, its operating revenue for the January-June period this year increased by 36 percent year on year to RMB 900 million ($139.1 million), while its net profit decreased by 4.47 percent year on year to RMB 45.3113 million ($7.003 million).
 
In the first quarter of the current year, Zhongyuan Special Steel's operating revenue has decreased by 0.98 percent year on year to RMB 361 million ($55.79 million), while its net profit was RMB 6.1608 million ($0.9522 million), down 78.55 percent year on year.
