Zaporizhstal’s finished steel output up 5% in Jan-July

In the January-July period of the current year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal saw a five percent year-on-year rise in its finished steel product output to 1.964 million mt, while its crude steel production increased by 2.7 percent year on year to 2.2675 million mt, according to the company's preliminary results. In the given period, Zaporizhstal's pig iron output increased by 3.3 percent year on year to 1.9137 million mt.

In July alone, Zaporizhstal produced 282,000 mt of finished steel products, 326,310 mt of crude steel and 271,320 mt of pig iron.
