Zaporizhstal's finished steel output up 2.4 percent in 2013

In December last year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output increased by 11.9 percent year on year to 292,800 mt, pig iron production moved up by 13.1 percent to 284,400 mt, while its crude steel production rosed by eight percent year on year to 333,700 mt, according to the company's preliminary results.

In the whole of 2013, Zaporizhstal saw a 2.4 percent year-on-year rise in its finished steel product output to 3.225 million mt, a 0.8 percent increase in its pig iron production to 3.219 million mt, while its crude steel production rose by 0.9 percent year on year to 3.82 million mt.
