Zaporizhstal’s finished steel output up 2.2 percent in April

In April this year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output increased by 2.2 percent year on year to 276,500 mt, while its crude steel production amounted to 323,000 mt, up 0.8 percent year on year, according to the company's preliminary results.

In the January-April period, Zaporizhstal saw a 4.1 percent year-on-year rise in its finished steel product output to 1.123 million mt, while its crude steel production increased by 1.1 percent year on year to 1.288 million mt.
