Zaporizhstal’s finished steel output up 14.3% in May

In May this year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output increased by 14.3 percent year on year to 285,000 mt, while its crude steel production amounted to 328,200 mt, up 17.4 percent year on year, according to the company's preliminary results.

In the January-May period, Zaporizhstal saw a six percent year-on-year rise in its finished steel product output to 1.4085 million mt, while its crude steel production increased by 4.1 percent year on year to 1.617 million mt.
