Zaporizhstal’s crude steel output up 5.38 percent in April

In April this year, Ukrainian steelmaker Zaporizhstal's finished steel product output decreased by 2.5 percent year on year to 265,800 mt, its pig iron production moved up by 3.9 percent to 279,600 mt, while its crude steel production rose by 5.38 percent year on year to 317,300 mt, according to the company's results.
 
In the January-April period this year, Zaporizhstal saw a 7.35 percent year-on-year decrease in its finished steel product output to 1.05 million mt and a 5.95 percent year-on-year decrease in its pig iron output to 1.1 million mt, while its crude steel production declined by one percent year on year to 1.26 million mt.
