Zamil Steel awarded structural steel contract

Saudi Arabian steelmaker Zamil Steel reportedly signed a contract to supply structural steel products for the Shoaiba Power Plant Project in Saudi Arabia. The products Zamil Steel will supply to the project will be used in the Phase 2, Stage 2 of the project. The SAR 33.7 million ($8.9 million) contract has been signed between Zamil Steel and a consortium that includes France's Alstom Power and Saudi Archirodon, the main contractor of the project. Zamil Steel also supplied structural steel to the previous stages of the project. With the recent contract, Zamil Steel will have supplied SAR 163 million ($43.4 million) wroth of structural steel to the project.
