Yantai Port’s cargo throughput reaches 180 million mt in 2011

The cargo throughput of the eastern Chinese port of Yantai reached 180 million mt in 2011, up 20 percent year on year, constituting an all-time record, according to local media sources.
 
In addition, container throughput at Yantai Port in 2011 totaled 1.709 million units, up 10.9 percent year on year, also constituting a record annual volume.
