Xinyu Steel raises plate and bar prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On January 26, Jiangxi Province-based Xinyu Steel announced its latest ex-factory prices. The details are as follows: 1. Medium plate prices have been increased by RMB 80/mt ($11). After the adjustment, the new price in Nanchang of 14-25 mm thick Q235A/B is RMB 4070/mt ($524). 2. Rebar and common carbon round bar prices have risen 30/mt ($4.5), and so the new price of 20mm diameter HRB335 is now RMB 4070/mt ($524). The above prices include taxes and are effective as of January 26, 2007.
