Xinyu Steel posts net profit of RMB 111 million for H1

Jiangxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Xinyu Iron and Steel Co.(Xinyu Steel) has announced an operating revenue of RMB 12.311 billion ($1.84 billion) for the first half of the current year, up 0.21 percent year on year, with a net profit of RMB 111 million ($16.62 million) compared to a net profit of RMB 137 million recorded in the same period of 2015.
 
In the given period, Xinyu Steel produced 4.39 million mt of pig iron, 4.31 million mt of crude steel and 3.91 million mt of finished steel.
