Xinyu Steel issues ex-factory prices

On January 16, Jiangxi Province-based Xinyu Steel issued ex-factory prices for certain products. The details are as follows:

1.Wire Rod:

The producer's wire rod price has gone up RMB 20/mt ($3/mt), and so in Nanchang the price of Q235 6.5 mm wire rod is now at RMB 3,720/mt ($544/mt).

2. Rebar:

The price of rebar has remained stable. Thus in Nanchang the price of HRB 335 of 16 mm diameter is still at RMB 3,770/mt ($552/mt).

3. Medium plate:

The producer's price for common carbon plate and low alloy plate has not changed. Thus, the price of Q235 14-20 mm material is still at RMB 4,000/mt ($586/mt), while Q345 14-20 mm now costs RMB 4,150/mt ($608/mt).

4. Shipbuilding plate:

The price of shipbuilding plate has remained stable, and so CCSB 14-20 mm still costs RMB 3,900/mt ($571/mt).

The above prices include taxes (17 percent VAT) and are effective as of January 16.
