Xichang Steel & Vanadium’s special steel billet output rises in Sept

Sichuan Province-based Pangang Xichang Steel & Vanadium Co., a subsidiary of Sichuan-based Chinese steel producer Panzhihua Iron and Steel Group (Pangang Group), produced 232,400 mt of billet in the month of September this year, as announced by Pangang on October 16. In particular, special steel accounted for 59.4 percent of the billet output, with the volume of special steel output up 11.4 percent month on month.
 
In September, Xichang Steel & Vanadium's special steel products included cylinder steel, weather-resistant steel, automobile beam steel, among others.
