Wuyang Steel supplies steel for Huanglianguan wind-power station

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group Co. (Hebei Steel Group) has announced that its subsidiary Wuyang Iron and Steel Co. (Wuyang Steel) has produced the first batch of high-end steel for building wind turbine generators and has delivered the steel to Sichuan Province-based Xichang Huanglianguan wind-power station. In particular, Wuyang Steel will supply an overall 11,000 mt of high-end steel for building wind turbine generators for Xichang Huanglianguan wind-power station.

The Huanglianguan wind-power station constitutes the second phase of the Xichang wind-power station and will be able to supply 437 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity annually after completion.
