Wuxi NewDaZhong issues January ex-factory prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On January 1, 2007, the Jiangsu Province-based steel producer, Wuxi NewDaZhong, released its ex-factory product prices for January 2007. The mill's ex-factory price for HDG decreased RMB 50-200/mt ($6-26/mt). After this adjustment, the new price of 0.5 mm thick HDG is RMB 6,350/mt ($814/mt), while that of 1.0 mm thick HDG is RMB 5,850/mt ($750/mt). In addition, the producer's ex-factory price for color coated coil remained unchanged. Thus, the price of 0.4mm thick color coated coil is still RMB 7,450/mt ($955/mt), while that of 0.47 mm thick color coated coil is RMB 7,050/mt ($904/mt). All above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of January 1, 2007.
