Wuhu Xinxing Pipes completes hot test on round billet casting machine

A successful hot run test has lately been carried out on the round billet continuous casting machine No. 1 of Anhui Province-based Chinese steel pipe producer Wuhu Xinxing Pipes Co., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chinese pipe maker Xinxing Ductile Iron Pipes Co., as announced by Beijing-based state-owned China Metallurgical Group Co. (MCC) on October 9.

The new casting machine was built by MCC subsidiary MCC17 Group Metallurgy Engineering Technology Co. It will produce common round billet with diameters of 150 mm, 200 mm and 250 mm, with an annual output capacity of 1.5 million mt.
