Wuhan Steel announces latest ex-factory prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On November 1, Wuhan Steel announced its ex-factory prices of December shipments for some products. The details are as follows: Hot rolled coil Prices increased RMB 100/mt ($13). The new price of 2.75mm Q235 stands at RMB 3,760/mt ($478), while that of 5.5mm Q235 is at RMB 3,610/mt ($459). Medium plate Prices of carbon structural steel and quality carbon steel increased RMB 100/mt ($13), while that of low alloy shipbuilding plate increased RMB 200/mt ($25). Following the increase, the new price of 14-20mm Q235 stands at RMB 3,610/mt ($459). Non-oriented silicon steel Prices of 50W600X, 50W700X, and 50W800X increased RMB 200/mt ($25). Cold rolled coil The price of 1.0 mm Q195 cold rolled sheet is at RMB 4,150/mt ($527), while that of 1.0mm Q195 CRC is at RMB 4,100/mt ($521). The prices of other products remained unchanged. All the above prices exclude taxes (17 percent value-added tax) and are effective as of November 1, 2006.
