Worker dies in Connecticut steel accident

A worker died Friday morning at Middletown, Connecticut-based Primary Steel, which is affiliated with Kloeckner Metals.

Authorities told local media that workers were loading steel onto a truck when the victim was hit by an unidentified steel product. He was rushed to the hospital but died within an hour of the accident.

No further details were released. Primary Steel stocks ferrous and non-ferrous sheet, plate and long products.
