WISCO wins large contract for Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge project

Major Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corporation (WISCO) has announced that it has won a tender to supply 130,000 mt of steel box girders for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Brigde project.

The bridge project in question is expected to cost RMB 72.5 billion (11,4 billion $), while it is due to open to traffic at the end of 2016.
