WISCO subsidiary Egang produces NM360 wear-resistant steel

Hubei-based Chinese steelmaker Echeng Iron and Steel (Egang), a subsidiary of major Chinese steel producer Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. (WISCO), has developed NM360 high strength wear-resistant steel for engineering machinery application.

NM360 is characterized by high wear resistance, three to five times that of common low alloy steel. The product features high strength, low alloy content, and is easy to weld and process.
