WISCO completes hot trial run on new ladle furnace

Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. (WISCO) has announced that it has successfully completed a hot trial run at its ladle furnace No. 3.
 
The furnace in question was designed by Wuhan Iron and Steel Design and Research General Institute (WISDRI), part of the Beijing-based stated-owned MCC Group. Construction work started on the project on November 5, 2010, and was completed within six months.
