Vyksa Steel Works to start production at mill 5000

Vyksa Steel Works, a part of Russia-based OMK Group, plans to start production operations at its mill 5000 on Friday, November 25.

Construction of mill 5000 at OMK started in 2007. The mill will produce wide sheets made from high-strength steel grades with a designed capacity of 1.2 million mt per year. Around Ruble 50 billion ($1.6 billion) has been invested in the construction of the mill.
