Vyksa Steel Works registers reduced steel tube output for June

Vyksa Steel Works, a part of Russia-based OMK Group, has announced its production results for June and the first six months of the current year.

Accordingly, in the January-June period Vyksa Steel Works' output of steel tubes amounted to 658,000 mt, including 303,300 mt of large diameter tubes. In June alone, Vyksa Steel Works produced 92,100 mt of steel tubes, down 48.4 percent year on year, including 45,200 mt of large diameter tubes.

In the first six months of 2012, Vyksa Steel Works increased its output of railway wheels by eight percent year on year to 418,400 wheels. In June this year, Vyksa Steel Works produced 62,600 railway wheels, up 26.7 percent compared to June 2011.
