Vyksa Steel Works posts reduced steel tube output for January-April

Vyksa Steel Works, a part of Russia-based OMK Group, has announced its production results for April and the first four months of the current year.

Accordingly, in January-April Vyksa Steel Works' output of steel tubes amounted to 446,000 mt, down 26.1 percent year on year, including 193,200 mt of large diameter tubes. In April alone, Vyksa Steel Works produced 101,400 mt of steel tubes, including 45,600 mt of large diameter tubes.

In the first four months of 2012, Vyksa Steel Works increased its output of railway wheels by four percent year on year to 281,300 wheels. In April this year, Vyksa Steel Works produced 71,800 railway wheels.
